Nestled between the vineyards, Skilpadvlei Restaurant is renowned for
its traditional South African cuisine, relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking
views of the Stellenbosch Hills and mountains beyond.

Here you can indulge in a variety of breakfasts, baked treats,
savoury pancakes, cheese platters or our famous Skilpadvlei burger,
chicken pie, tomato stew and oxtail "potjie".

The Sunday buffet starts at noon and consists of a starter, 3 meat dishes,
tripe, rice, a potato dish, 3 vegetables, 3 salads and a dessert table.

Seating is available inside by the fireplace or outside on the veranda,
whilst the play park offers ample entertainment for the children.

Opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 08:00-17:00. 
Breakfast is served all day from Monday to Saturday and up to 11:00 on a Sunday.
The restaurant is available in the evenings for private functions.
